Animal rehoming is a big part of our work with Devon's animals. Once we’ve rescued domestic animals, treated
and rehabilitated them, the next stage is to find them secure new homes. We transfer wildlife to the RSPCA’s
West Hatch Animal Rescue Centre for specialist rehabilitation and eventual return to its natural habitat.
Animal rehoming needs your support
To continue our rehoming work, we always need caring people who can take responsibility for animals that have often been through traumatic experiences. Our animal rehoming service includes the following:
- Dog rehoming
- Cat rehoming
(we’re a local alternative to RSPCA cat rehoming) - Horse rehoming
- Rehoming small animals
The special needs of elderly people
and elderly cats
We particularly understand the special needs of elderly people and elderly cats. We regularly rehome suitably docile felines with local senior citizens and care homes.
Could you help us by rehoming an animal?
As one of the region’s local animal rehoming centres, we usually have a selection of animals needing secure, loving homes. If you think you could help, please contact us by email or call our locally based dog and cat rehomers directly:
