Rescued puppy Shadow owes his happiness to the work of the North Devon Animal Ambulance
Shadow was one of the dogs taken from a Labrador breeder who was closed down. He was one of 17 Labs who were rescued, and for whom the NDAA paid for all the required veterinary treatment, spaying and castration. This single occurrence of vet fees for 17 dogs, a typical example of our work, nearly bankrupted the society at the time. But it was worth the effort and the cost because all 17 dogs were happily re-homed and now have full lives ahead of them.
