Autumn Watch.....with the NDAA
It was meant to be another 10am rendevous for NDAA copywriter Al Hidden and the charity's animal ambulance. Unfortunately, it was the day the M5 was closed after a major accident. So it was lunchtime when Al finally met Diana Lewis at the NDAA Misty Centre and hit the road for a taste of autumn with North Devon's own 'animal angel'.
1.30 pm - to Tiverton
A beautiful autumn day is already halfway through as we meet in the yard at the NDAA's Misty Centre on the edge of Barnstaple and Diana teases me about my tardiness. While I've been sitting in traffic jams on the M5 and around Bristol, Diana's already done half of a typical busy day's work.......
