Another sheep is rescued by the North Devon Coastguard
Sharp-eyed members of the public often call the North Devon Animal Ambulance when they spot a sheep that has fallen down the cliffs along the North Devon coast. In this situation, the sheep may be injured, will certainly be frightened and runs the risk of further injury or death if it isn't helped quickly. When we are told about a fallen sheep, the help of the local coastguards is vital and Diana works closely with them to make sure the sheep is rescued and receives any treatment it requires before being returned to the farmer. This picture shows a rescue where a sheep had fallen part of the way down the cliff and got into severe difficulty. Thankfully, after getting the coastguard involved and emergency treatment, the sheep was okay.
